Symbols
What does a towel, fish, and a dove have in common? Well they have been used, among other things, in scripture to symbolize certain aspects of our relationship with Christ. As you are learning what these are for yourself, you child in FUSION will be learning the same thing but on their level of understanding. It's a great way to be able to discuss Biblical truths with the whole family. Come join us this weekend as we discuss SYMBOLS!

Bible Focus: Luke 5:1-11 Letting the Net Down
Power Verse: Matthew 13:47-48 47"Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish. 48When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away.
Focal Point: To be a good fisherman you must come to think like the fish.
Pastors Corner: The FISH was used many times in the bible by Jesus to make points in his messages. The feeding of the 5,000 was one of the great miracles that Jesus performed.... with fish. He also obtained coins from fishes mouths, made men fishers of men, and caught many fish! Fish was an important resource and something everyone understood. Today we need to relearn the meaning of "fish" in our lives. Lets all be fishers of men!
