The Growth Track

This is where you begin at Journey. We welcome you to join the church and develop a strong relationship with God, discover your gifts and get involved in the ministry. You can complete the Growth Track in as little as four weeks. Also you may begin at any Step and complete them in successive order. When you complete all 4 classes you'll be invited to get involved on a ministry team. Below is description on each Step Class. Welcome to the Journey.

Step 1 Membership

Discovering church membership at Journey Fellowship Church

Step 1 meets on the first Sunday night of each month. Join us at 5p for our Newcomers Reception, which offers an opportunity to meet the Lead Pastor. Childcare and light meal provided. At 6p the class begins. Lead Pastor Doug McAllister will tell the Journey story, teach our Purpose, Mission and Core Values, and share the vision of Journey Fellowship Church. At the conclusion of Step 1, you'll be offered an opportunity to join the Journey family.  You may register for Step 1 by using our OnLine Comm Card or by visiting Guest Services in the Journey lobby.

Step 2 Maturity

Developing the essential habits of a healthy believer

Step 2 meets on the Second Sunday of each month. Childcare opens at 5:30p and class begins at 6p sharp. In this class you will learn the essential habits that every believer should develop to support his or her walk with the Lord.


Step 3 Ministry

Discovering your place in the Body of Christ

Step 3 meets on the third Sunday of each month. Childcare opens at 5:30p and class begins at 6p sharp. In this class you will discover your God given gifts and passions.  You will be encouraged to use them at Journey.

Step 4 Mission

Joining Journey Fellowship Church's XTeam

The XTeam are the leaders who serve in ministry at the church. From the parking lot to the Journey band, from Small Group leaders to the Student Ministry team, everyone who serves in ministry is on the XTeam. And there's a place for you.

Step 4 meets on the fourth Sunday of each month. Childcare opens at 5:30p and the class begins at 6:00p sharp. This class will last about 15 minutes. The balance of the evening will be dedicated to meeting the Team Leaders. You'll have the opportunity to select where you'd like to serve at Journey, meet the leader and get connected.

Classes start at 6p.


 


      Step Classes meet every month with the exception of December. Classes are not held on the fifth Sunday of any month.
