With great pride the Summer of Service team completed the painting of "The Purple House".  Under the direction of Chris and Cliff Dugas, tall ladders and scaffolding were scaled to paint the three story duplex.  God provided the courage while the Journey team, young and old,  provided the strokes.  While the paint was drying other members went from house to house, cutting grass, whacking weeds, advertising free lunch and serving the community.  VBS was provided for the neighborhood children in the newly renovated Community Outreach Center.
